Now things are getting a little complicated right now cause I am trying to manage school, dieting, and working out. But when I get discouraged I just look at this picture of these plus size models, and it lifts my spirits:)This is such an encouraging photo because it shows all the "flaws" and its BEAUTIFUL! No one can say that they don't see themselves in at least one of the models. And the fact that they can bear it all, shows pure courage and confidence. I am WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR BABY!!!!

Was EveryBody Skinny in the 70's???

Today I saw one of those old movies from the 70's and it starred Pam Grier. Her shape was soo nice in that movie, and so was everybody else's. When I look at old pictures of my parents in their teenage years, they look skinny too. The only show from the 70's I can think of that had big people in it is Fat Albert and that's a cartoon!!! Everybody was skinny in the 70's. Why is it that my generation is soo dag on plump. Black, white, spanish, asian, and indians too!! I have been dieting and working out since as long as I could remember and I don't look like that.
Oh yeah, and there wasn't alot of dieting and exercising back in those days, so the skinnyness was all natural! That is soo not fair. I wonder if McDonalds was around in the 70's? Or maybe there wasn't alot of fast food at all. Whatever it was it's not fair....That's all I gotta say.

Is College for me or am I just LAZY???

Ok so I am a freshman and an ex-business major at Morgan State University. Today I met with my advisor and made the decision to switch my major to Liberal Arts with a concentration in Economics. I had always felt that having a business major would be right since I want to own my own business someday. But now I realize that I need to take a different route because, I AM BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!!!!!
I really do hate school right now and it's because it is sooo challenging. The workload is one thing, but my lack of drive is propelling me towards a miserable lifestyle for the rest of my life. Anything worth doing is worth doing well.And I wanna have a fun too. Work and hard are no longer going to be synonymous. Work and fun are going to be one and the same. Just keep praying for a sista though, cause I still gotta' make it through this semester:)
