LadyPhenom: Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue Review

Hello Everyone, I recently bought the 2oz jar of Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue to see if I liked it. I had a bit of pros and cons for this product so I'll just go ahead and list them below.
PROS:

It moisturized my real hair and maintained a nice curl all day.
It has a really nice pineapple smell

CONS:

It leaves a lot of build up in your hair and will leave a visible residue in my hair and the weave.
Made my weave very hard, brittle and dry.

In conclusion I will never use this product again on my weave. I think that it was nice to my real hair, but it leaves a build up so you would need to wash your hair every time you use it. It was completely dry and brittle when I did a dry twist out on my weave. It was so bad I really didn't want to put the picture up.I saw that some people said that when you apply a generous amount it gets hard, but since I used less then half of my 2 oz I clearly didn't use a lot. I wonder if it would've been different if I did a wet twist out? I had to sing in church that day so I just twisted it back into a low bun. All in all I think for me and my hair, we will use Cantu products or Eco Styler olive oil whenever we want to do a dry twist out again!

I will try other products from this line to see what works for me. I gotta find out what the hype is all about!
